Our next expedition in KS1 is going to be all about keeping ourselves healthy. We are going to be thinking about:
As always, we are on the lookout for some experts to come and speak to the children. If you or someone you know thinks you could help us out, please let me know.

Class Five have been giving their brains a work out this morning on the iPads. Sumdog definitely got our minds ready for the day.
Don’t forget you can play Sumdog at home – the more you play – the more points you will earn!
If you can’t remember your log in just drop me a message on Dojo.

We spent our Mindful Monday crew thinking about human rights. We had a chat about the difference between wanting something and needing it. We discussed what our rights are as a human and we learned that in some parts of the world people are not living with access to their basic human rights. We are eager to spend some time in crew thinking about how we can make a difference to these people.
Today we came to school dressed in non uniform to raise funds for Children in Need.
We had lots of fun activities to complete throughout the day:
We really enjoyed designing and then making….and eating biscuits!! Thank you for all of your contributions to Children in Need.
Today in Maths we learn about weighing, measuring and comparing shapes. We followed directions and had fun when making shape spotty cookies to celebrate Children in Need Day.

Well done to all of the children who received a Headteacher’s Award this week. It was wonderful to see how kind and hardworking our children have been.
Keep it up!
