I am so proud of the English work I have received this week! The children have been writing their own alternative stories for ‘How To Heal a Broken Wing’, which has been the key text we have been looking at over the past few weeks. They have created some beautiful work and have used their incredible imaginations. I think we have got some budding authors and illustrators in our class 😀 Huge well done!

Class 4 have had an amazing week learning and developing their skills in writing, reading, Art and reasoning in Maths. Well done everybody for working extremely hard at school and home.

We’ve had another busy week working hard both at home and in school. Take a look at some of the beautiful work we have produced.

In expedition we have been learning about carnivores, herbivores and omnivores and creating venn and frayer diagrams.

In English we looked at character descriptions and settings linked to our core text ‘How to Heal a Broken Wing.’

In art we used peer critique to praise and wonder in order to improve each draft of our butterfly sketches, watch this space to see our work and final drafts.

It’s been another fantastic week! Everyone is working so hard at home and I am receiving some beautiful work every day.

We have been inspired by Henri Rousseau’s painting called ‘Surprise’ and have started some incredible paint work. Check out Evan’s panda bear…

We have been working hard in our expedition sessions this week, creating venn diagrams, frayer diagrams and getting crafty…

In maths we have been learning all about arrays and solving some tricky problems 😀

We also had a birthday girl this week 😀 We all sang happy birthday via our google hangout! That cake looks yummy!
