Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
Tomorrow, Friday 27th May 2022, will you please send your child(ren) into school with a picnic blanket/mat for them to sit on outside whilst they have their lunch weather permitting. If we can’t sit outside the children will have an indoor picnic in the school Hall. Please put your child’s name on the blanket if possible so that we know who they belong to at the end of the day! Fingers crossed for a dry day!
Also, don’t forget your child can come to school wearing red, white and blue tomorrow too! ❤️🤍💙

Today Class 6 worked collaboratively to solve puzzles and then order their photos in order from oldest to newest. What a great start to our history case study. Well done!!

Crew Breakfast
What better way to start a Tuesday morning than with a crew breakfast 🍽
Tranquil Tuesday
It was lovely to wander around our school this morning and see all of the fantastic things happening in our crew sessions – we had children reflecting on their howls, sharing stories and talking about their feelings using our zones of regulation. What a way to start the day!

Better World Day 2022
We will be celebrating Better World Day on Thursday 5th May (a day early). We are asking children to come into school wearing something blue or yellow. We are asking for voluntary contributions of 50p to raise money to send funds directly into Ukraine to support those in need. We will be talking about Better World Day in crew this week too.
Thank you all for your support,

Fieldwork at Danum Museum and Art Gallery
Today year 2 visited the Danum Museum and Gallery to learn all about the history of Doncaster as part of our summer term expedition.
We explored the museum and gallery in the morning. In the afternoon we took part in a workshop all about Doncaster through different time periods.
The children conducted themselves impeccably and even members of the public commented on their maturity.
Well done class 6, I am very proud of you all.
