Our Nursery children have been really busy mark making. They have been drawing horizontal and vertical lines to help them with their future letter writing.

Just a reminder that Thursday 22nd October is Dress up, Dress down day. Please see letter below.
Thank you
Mrs Powell
We have been busy doing some brilliant Math’s work today.
That’s not my rocket …
As part of our science case study we decided to read some ‘That’s not my …’ books and think carefully about the materials and the properties. We ended up making our own book called That’s Not My Rocket!

The children in school enjoyed this story last week. We had lots of fun retelling and acting out the story and couldn’t believe that the little mouse made such a big difference!!
Here are a few samples of our home learning fun last week:
Puppet shows:
- Nina’s amazing puppets
- Rowan is very proud of his first attempt at a puppet show.
- Yes….it’s Olivia and her puppets again!!
Story retells:
- Olivia impressed her Mummy with the amount of writing she did too.
- Katie’s very impressive work.
- Bae’s wonderful list of characters.
- Look at Nina’s perseverance in writing.
Magical Maths:
- Hugo completed the missing numbers up to 100!
- Peggy and Dolly did lots of work on using positional language.
Another great effort from the children and families in Class 1 this week. I am really looking forward to sharing the fabulous story sacks that have been made as part of our home learning expedition. Watch this space and we will share them soon.
It’s lovely to see so many children enjoying traditional tales and producing such beautiful work.
You should be so proud of the things that you have achieved with the help of your grown-ups.
Very well done everyone!
