We are so proud of our boys and girls who are doing some wonderful home learning. Well done!
Our Nursery boys and girls made the most of a snowy day.
I am extremely proud of all the children at home who are working incredibly hard every day with their learning, as are the children in class. They demonstrate their resilience, enthusiasm and positive attitude to everything they do.
I do receive lots of beautiful photographs showing your work and would like to say a huge thank you for your engagement and contribution. Have a little look at a few examples of what class five have been doing this week …
Well it certainly hasn’t been the start to the new year that we were expecting but I am so proud of everyone in Class 3. Whether you have been learning in school or at home, you have all been fantastic! You have immersed yourselves in our new expedition, learned how to use Google Hangouts and worked incredibly hard to complete phonics, maths and English work, all with a smile! Parents you have all been amazing too!
Take a look at what our introduction to our new expedition has looked like. Mrs Ponsonby and Mrs Greening brought in some very important visitors.
We heard all about the animals the children in Class 3 look after and enjoy cuddling at home.
We enjoyed creating fact files about pigeons and other animals.
We have been scientists naming and sorting animals into different animal groups.
As artists our drawing skills have already improved by the use of critique!
Keep up the incredible work Class 3, you should be very proud of yourselves!

We enjoy our new Expedition this term and learning about animals. We have been very creative when making the models and pictures of our favourite animals.
In English class 4 looked at the picture and used some great adjectives and similes to describe the place. We went to the Grufallo wood in our school grounds to help us generate the ideas.
Our Nursery children have loved setting sail aboard HMS Expedition!
It’s not the start to the new year we had hoped for but class 6, you have started it with a bang! I am so proud of your efforts this week (parents included). Here are some photos of what our first week in lock down looks like…
We have been learning lots of new fascinating facts about pigeons. The children have created some beautiful art work and fact files!
We have also become immersed in our new expedition. We’ve had some furry vistors in school. At home we have been writing fact files about our own pets, making birds and have even done a spot of bird watching…
I am so proud of everyone in class five this week. Whether you have been learning in school or at home, you have been incredible! (Adults too!) You have learnt how to use Google Hangouts, immersed yourselves in our new expedition, completed Maths and English work and done all that whilst smiling! What a crew!
Have a little look at all the amazing things we have been learning this week.
Thank you for all the check in messages, photos of beautiful work and for keeping in touch. Our hangouts have been the highlight of my week, seeing everyone’s smiling faces. I’m blown away by all your efforts.
I can’t wait to see what amazing things happen in our class (or remotely!) next week.
