In Class 3 we have been using the chrome books to research our chosen instruments.
We have also been studying instruments and making sketches to accompany our fact files.
In maths this week we have been recapping telling the time and having fun playing games using our number bonds to 10 and 20.
We have been exploring fruit using our senses. We enjoyed tasting some fruits we haven’t even seen before and have produced some beautiful observational pencil and pastel drawings to fill Handa’s basket.
In Class 1 this week we have been exploring objects and seeing which ones sink and which ones float. We have been talking about which materials would be best to make a boat.
Now we have all designed and made our boats, we are looking forward to testing them out.
Class 4 have had so much fun learning about African music during our fantastic drumming workshop.
Our Nursery children have been retelling this lovely story using hand puppets. It was fun splashing about in the water!
Yesterday in class five we started our music case study as part of our expedition – How can I be the healthiest version of me?
We engaged with a drumming workshop where learnt about African instruments, we listened to our expert Rome play and even had a go ourselves – What do you think of our performance?
