We’ve been predicting what might happen in our new text this morning. I was very impressed with how Class 6 made links with other stories they were familiar with to help with these predictions.

Here’s a selection of beautiful work from across our Trust this week!

The chicks have now been moved into a brooder box. They have settled beautifully into their new home.
The children have shown real care and consideration for our little chicks, which has been really lovely to see.
We are so happy watching them grow 🐥🥰

Nursery got their chicks home to roost today in our Nursery building. We have excitedly watched them hatch over the past week, tying in with our learning of the hen life cycle. The children have loved to watch the process and are enjoying watch the chicks grow and develop. I think it got all too much for them at lunch time and they huddled under the lamp to keep warm and rest.

The chicks have started to hatch! We came into school this morning to find six chicks had made their way out into the world. Two more have joined them this morning too which the children were able to watch.
We’ll be transferring them into their brooder boxes this afternoon so they can enjoy more freedom and allow the other chicks to hatch in peace.
