What a fantastic final week of home learning :-)

The children have planned and written some incredible stories about Wild 10 years later…

We have been learning about lines of symmetry in maths…

In expedition we have been learning about how to add texture into our observational drawings. 😀

We have written friendship letters to our friends that we will be sharing with each other next week ❤️

We had so much fun celebrating World Book Day! We have written book reviews, made finger puppets, been on scavenger hunts, guessed the masked reader contestants and shared some stories on our hangout 😊

Lily read her favourite story beautifully and wrote an amazing review…

I couldn’t think of a better way to end our last home learning blog than with a quote from Lily’s favourite book. I think it says it all, you can be anything you want to be and you’ve got an amazing journey ahead of you…

Oh, the Places You'll Go! by Dr. Seuss

Thank you for your amazing efforts,

Mrs Chadwick xxxx

We have been mathematicians

Class 4 have been measuring the length of different objects using standard and non standard units. We have used some mathematical language to compare objects and worked out some challenging word problems.

Class 3’s Fabulous Week

We’ve had fun at school and at home exploring and identifying the animals that live in our local environment.

We have continued to share our love of books in our weekly reading target crew.

In maths this week we have enjoyed working practically to compare and measure lengths and heights.

Busy first week back in Class Five

This week we have been busy learning about the different animal groups for our expedition, reading all about Wild and exploring shapes – we even found time for a bit of yoga!

Being Scientists….

We had an exciting day finding out about the animals living in our local area. The children had a walk around the school ground to look at some beautiful creatures.
