All children will need to bring a packed lunch with them. If you have free school meals, we will be able to provide a packed lunch.
We are sorry for this inconvenience, but it is unavoidable. We hope the kitchen will be open as normal on Thursday, this will be confirmed tomorrow.

Friday Crew Fun with the Parachute in Nursery!

This week learning in Class 4
We have had another exciting week finding out about castles. We have been very lucky to meet our expert visitor, Mr Lamb, who told us about the life around castles. We have also enjoyed our reading crew and sorting and counting numbers in Maths.

All about castles
This week we have had some great experiences and activities to begin our expedition ’What lies within the castle walls’.

We really enjoyed a visit from our expert Mr Lamb. He taught us lots of new information about castles and let us throw ’rocks’ at castle walls to see which castle is the strongest when attacked.

A huge thank you to Mr Lamb – we had a great morning.
Beautiful Work
This week the children in Reception have created self portraits using different media and materials. They practised their colour mixing skills and thought carefully about how they could create the best representation of themselves. Their beautiful artwork is now on display in our classroom.
Well done Class Two.

Nursery’s Condolences to a wonderful Queen.
Today Nursery spent some time thinking about the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. We watched the sketch with her favourite bear – Paddington and talked about why our own bears are so special to us as part of National Teddy Bear Day. Then the children made beautiful sympathy cards as part of our British Values to commemorate the Queen. May Her Majesty rest in peace.

Hook week in Class 4
We have had a very exciting week and loved sharing a story called ’Tell me a dragon’. The children came up with some great describing words and used them in their independent writing. A dragon visited our classroom and left some footprints…Later in the week we became artists and created pictures of dragon’s eyes.

Playdough Fun
We have been having fun in class 1 making play-dough bears 🐻
The children are definitely hooked into our new expedition. Keep up the great work class 1 🙂
