Enjoying our favourite stories

This week we have been exploring our favourite books, discussing the problems and describing the characters. After listening to the story of ‘Little Red and the Very Hungry Lion we retold the story with a story map. Fantastic work!!

The Enormous Turnip

The children in school enjoyed this story last week. We had lots of fun retelling and acting out the story and couldn’t believe that the little mouse made such a big difference!!

Here are a few samples of our home learning fun last week:

Another great effort from the children and families in Class 1 this week. I am really looking forward to sharing the fabulous story sacks that have been made as part of our home learning expedition. Watch this space and we will share them soon.
