This week in Class 6

Hello!

You have amazed me with your hard work and efforts yet again Class 6. So let’s take a look at what we have been up to this week…

In English– We have been practicing our spellings, taking a dive into our weekly key text ‘The Town Mouse and The Country Mouse’, writing character descriptions and our own versions of the story! You truly have blown me away with your imaginative ideas.

In maths – We have been making tally charts and partitioning numbers!

This week we have been geographers researching the UK and beyond…

In other news we have a few master-chefs in the making. Jacob has helped make a beef dinner this week with all the trimmings! Yum! Lois has been making a delicious Spaghetti Bolognese! Careful with that grater next time Lois πŸ™‚ What super stars you both are helping out in the kitchen.

Thank you for everything you are doing at home with your wonderful children. The children and families at Norton Infant School are simply the best! I wonder what we will get up to next week… Keep up the hard work and keep sending those pictures.

William’s Exercise Trail

Hi everyone,

If you’re out on your daily walk today keep your eyes out for William’s ‘Olympic Exercise Trail’!

What a fantastic idea William! You’re so right, exercise does make you smile πŸ™‚ If you don’t live nearby then you could maybe start one where you live.

Well done for spreading the happiness William,

Thought of the week…

Hello Class 6,

You are my class full of Care Bears so I know you’ll like this thought of the week. Keep sprinkling that kindness…

This week in Class 6…

Hi Class 6,

I continue to be amazed by your efforts and the beautiful work you’re producing at home! I have put a selection of some of the pictures I have received this week. Even though we may not be in the same classroom we are all still learning together. Thank you for making me smile πŸ™‚

I would also like to thank all the grown ups too, your efforts do not go unnoticed.

Happy Friday

Mrs Chadwick xx

Madison’s persuasive writing has convinced myself and Mr Chadwick to go to Egypt πŸ™‚ Beautiful handwriting as always!

Cian tired his mum out with all the measuring around the house. Look at that concentration πŸ™‚ Great job!

Lucy has been busy researching all about Quentin Blake. Super star!

Lois has made a bed for her dolly and even made her a bedtime story to read all about pandas. Amazing idea!

Jacob looks engrossed in ‘The Ice Monster’, I do miss reading this book to you all Class 6! Happy reading Jacob πŸ™‚

William enjoyed going on his nature trail this week. Great stuff!

Fraser did great on our daily ten challenge. Brilliant!

Hudson had a magnet exploration day. Looks like fun πŸ™‚

Jude wrote about his favourite place. It sounds like fun. Do we all think Jude deserves some fizzy pop for his efforts Class 6 ? πŸ™‚

Sienna drew Quentin Blake’s Willy Wonka. You’re a budding illustrator! Beautiful work!

KEEP UP THE HARD WORK CLASS 6! If I could I would get my prize box out for each and everyone of you xx
