Another wonderful week…

The children in Class 3 have impressed me again this week with their wonderful English and expedition tasks.

In English we have been reading, following and writing instructions.

In our expedition this week we have hunted for plants, identified and labelled them and even started to grow our own.

Keeping up our love of reading.

Well done Class 3, keep up your amazing work!

This Week in Class 3

Another busy and varied week in Class 3, let’s take a look a what you have all been up to.

In English…

Mia and Elsie thought about the wildlife in their gardens and our playground and did a great job making bird feeders.

Elsie made a beautiful worry jar and baked for her Mummy during the ‘7 Day Kindness Challenge.’

In school and at home you have been thinking about animals and their habitats.

Victoria enjoyed some science this week and grew her own crystals!

Adam built another amazing model.

Fearne and Adam enjoying the sunshine and relaxing with a good book.

I hope you all enjoyed looking at these photos as much as I did Class 3, they are fabulous!

Have a great half term.

Crew and Circle Time

On Friday Class 3 took part in a circle time, something I have been missing while we all stay safe at home.  We started by passing on a smile to see how many people in our families we could make smile.  I was lucky enough to receive some pass a smile selfies…

We then thought about the positives of our time at home and finished the sentence starter ‘One thing I have enjoyed about staying safe at home has been..’ Here are a few of our answers…

One thing I have enjoyed about staying at home is having PE in the paddling pool. Fearne xx

It’s lovely to see you all making the most of your time at home.  Keep having fun.

You have made a fabulous start to our new expedition, ‘Where in the world would you go?’.  It has been lovely to find out about all the places you have visited, how you got there and to hear about the places you are looking forward to visiting in the future.

Happy New Year!

What a wonderful start to the new year and our new expedition ‘How can we be a superhero where we live?’

The children have had so much fun finding out about what this term has in store and have worked hard to decorate our classroom.

They enjoyed our dress up day and meeting the author and illustrator Phil Sheppard who shared some of his stories with us before holding a book signing of his own superhero book ‘Lollipop Man – Hero of the Highway’.
