Today we all enjoyed eating Christmas lunch together in the dining hall. There were lots of happy faces and full tummies 😋 Miss Tunney and Mrs Ponsonby were also in the festive spirit serving everyone their dessert.

Today we were visited by a wonderful team of people from Bentley Baptist Church who performed the nativity story for the whole school. Three children even got to take on the roles of a wise man and shepherd. The children listened so carefully to the retelling of the story and really enjoyed themselves.

We would like to say a big thank you to our lovely visitors and we hope they will come back into school to share more bible stories with the children.
Bentley Baptist Church would like to invite you all to their Christingle Service this Saturday at 3pm. They said it would be wonderful to see you there.

We were so excited to bring back our secret room this year. It was a huge success and the children all absolutely loved being able to take home a gift wrapped present ready for their special people.
Thank you to everyone who donated gifts, wrapping paper and time – both parents and staff in school. It just goes to show what a special community and crew we have at Norton. 🎁🎄🎅🏻

What a fun morning testing catapult, looking at the materials, making predictions and observations.

Class 1 enjoyed their first celebration of learning this week. They have worked so hard and each got to take home a very special bear 🐻

I am so proud of the writing and creativity I am seeing in class 1 at the moment…

It was so exciting for Class Two to take part in their first ever Celebration of Learning with their parents and grandparents this week. The children have worked incredibly hard answering this term’s expedition question ‘How Can We Care for the Bears?’. Why not check out our expedition website here where you can find out all about what we got up to…

We are so proud of our final product and hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
The children certainly deserved to take home their own teddy bear as a lasting legacy of their hard work this term. Well done Class Two, I can’t wait to see what the next expedition has in store!

We are very proud of these mathematicians in class five – they have been working really hard on SumDog and all finished in the top ten spots of our leaderboard!
I wonder who will be in the top ten next time?
