Class Five were working really hard yesterday gathering their ideas to write their own description of an underwater paradise based on our core text – The Tin Forest.
I can’t wait to read the finished pieces.

Our Nursery children just love being active outdoors.
In crew we have presented our writing, discussed our presentation rules and shared ‘wonders’ and ‘praises’.
We decided to move our lesson outside this morning. We shared our new text ‘The Tin Forest’ and acted out the key parts of the story before then sequencing and retelling the story.
Great job class five – you worked really hard.

It was so lovely to complete our daily mile in the sunshine today. It woke us up after lunch and helped us to feel alert and ready for maths.
Wow… this morning we were lucky enough to be able to watch the Year 2 children rehearsing for the Dance Competition that is being held at Campsmount Academy tomorrow. We were blown away by their talent. Good luck everyone!
Class Five have been grappling with some challenging texts to support with their expedition – How will what I do today impact the world tomorrow?

The sunshine has made us very happy on our daily mile this morning…
In Nursery we have been very busy planting broad beans and peas. Now we need to take care of them and watch them grow!
