Celebrating and Getting Smart

Class Two’s Celebration of Learning

It was so exciting for Class Two to take part in their first ever Celebration of Learning with their parents and grandparents this week. The children certainly deserved to take home their own teddy bear as a lasting legacy of their hard work this term. Well done Class Two, I can’t wait to see what the next expedition has in store!

SumDog Superstars

Designers and Mathematicians

We have been designing and making our very own catapults in class this week. We brushed up on our measuring skills and spoke about how to make our experiment a fair one. We had a great time and produced some fantastic products.

In Class 3 we have been busy designing and making:

We have designed catapults, making sure they include a lever, spring and bucket. We have also made a list of materials we need. We then had great fun gathering materials and making the catapults.
We have also been very busy designing and making our final product for our Expedition. We have designed our very own castle flags and towers and also made knights with moving arms and legs. We are all really proud of our work and have enjoyed learning new skills.
