We started the morning in class five with a hot chocolate, stories by the (interactive!) fire and a very special message from a very important person. 🎅🏻🌟☕️
All the children in Nursery and Reception sang their hearts out during their performances of Wriggly Nativity this week. It was wonderful to see them perform so confidently and share the good news of Christmas with their loved ones ⭐️
Here are some photographs of children in Class 2 enjoying wearing their costumes during our dress rehearsal 😀
We have had some very special assemblies across Norton Campus today – we even got to visit the junior school which was very exciting! Mr Chadwick arranged for Reverend Chris to visit us, and he brought with him his friend Chris. He talked to us about the importance of a Christingle and what it means.
He invited us all to a special Christingle service at Campsall Church on Christmas Eve at 4pm. During the service we will get to take part in a Nativity, sing some Christmas carols, make our own Christingle and we will even be able to hear Chris’ voice (it only works on Christmas Eve!)

We have been working really hard to activate our creativity this week – we have been crafting some amazing Christmas decorations. We can’t wait to share the finished product with you all later this week.

Wow! I could not be prouder of these little superstars this week! They showed determination and enthusiasm as they formed a fantastic choir as part of our nativity. We had lots of proud teachers and parents in our community today! Well done everyone 👏🏻

Today we have ticked the next mission on our bingo board. We thought about everyone in our community who we wanted to thank – we made cards and have been busy delivering them across the campus! Check out the rest of our photographs – there is a special card for our parents and adults at home too 🌟
Kindness doesn’t just stop when we finish school. Willow and her mummy have been busy spreading Christmas kindness by making Christmas hot chocolate bombs for everyone in class 5. Just look at all these happy smiles all caused by a little kindness ❤️
Keep it up class five! You’re making our class a very special place to be 🌟

We have been set a bingo mission to spread Christmas kindness across Norton Infant School.
We started by writing all the beautiful things we could think of about our school. We sneaked into Miss Tunney’s office and stuck them all over her door.
Keep an eye out for our next Christmassy act of kindness 🎁

Hello parents/carers,
As the Autumn term draws to a close and we all begin to wind down for the Christmas break, we would like to invite parents and carers into school during the first two weeks back in January to attend your child’s student-led conference (SLC).
In this 10 minute session, your child, accompanied by their teacher or crew leader, will walk you through their journey so far. Children will talk about their achievements, challenges and next steps as well as showing you their favourite pieces of beautiful work.
Days are Monday (9th), Tuesday (10th), Wednesday (11th) There are morning, afternoon and evening slots available.
Please complete the form below by the deadline which is Thursday 15th December at 5pm.
Many thanks,
Key Stage One Team xx
