Crew and Circle Time

On Friday Class 3 took part in a circle time, something I have been missing while we all stay safe at home.  We started by passing on a smile to see how many people in our families we could make smile.  I was lucky enough to receive some pass a smile selfies…

We then thought about the positives of our time at home and finished the sentence starter ‘One thing I have enjoyed about staying safe at home has been..’ Here are a few of our answers…

One thing I have enjoyed about staying at home is having PE in the paddling pool. Fearne xx

It’s lovely to see you all making the most of your time at home.  Keep having fun.

Our wonderful expedition work.

This week in Class 6

Hello!

You have amazed me with your hard work and efforts yet again Class 6. So let’s take a look at what we have been up to this week…

In English– We have been practicing our spellings, taking a dive into our weekly key text ‘The Town Mouse and The Country Mouse’, writing character descriptions and our own versions of the story! You truly have blown me away with your imaginative ideas.

In maths – We have been making tally charts and partitioning numbers!

This week we have been geographers researching the UK and beyond…

In other news we have a few master-chefs in the making. Jacob has helped make a beef dinner this week with all the trimmings! Yum! Lois has been making a delicious Spaghetti Bolognese! Careful with that grater next time Lois 🙂 What super stars you both are helping out in the kitchen.

Thank you for everything you are doing at home with your wonderful children. The children and families at Norton Infant School are simply the best! I wonder what we will get up to next week… Keep up the hard work and keep sending those pictures.
