This week we have been busy learning about the different animal groups for our expedition, reading all about Wild and exploring shapes – we even found time for a bit of yoga!
This week in English and Expedition we have been thinking about whether we are for or against zoos. We had some great discussions where we thought about both sides of the argument and generated our own conclusions. What do you think?
In order to answer our guiding question – Why is it important to care about animals? – this week we have been thinking about what animals and humans need to survive.
I am extremely proud of all the children at home who are working incredibly hard every day with their learning, as are the children in class. They demonstrate their resilience, enthusiasm and positive attitude to everything they do.
I do receive lots of beautiful photographs showing your work and would like to say a huge thank you for your engagement and contribution. Have a little look at a few examples of what class five have been doing this week …
I am so proud of everyone in class five this week. Whether you have been learning in school or at home, you have been incredible! (Adults too!) You have learnt how to use Google Hangouts, immersed yourselves in our new expedition, completed Maths and English work and done all that whilst smiling! What a crew!
Have a little look at all the amazing things we have been learning this week.
In class we met Bruce the dog and Darth Vader the guinea pig! We shared videos with our friends at home so they could meet them too!
A tiny sample of the amazing home learning happening too.
Thank you for all the check in messages, photos of beautiful work and for keeping in touch. Our hangouts have been the highlight of my week, seeing everyone’s smiling faces. I’m blown away by all your efforts.
I can’t wait to see what amazing things happen in our class (or remotely!) next week.
