The children in reception have transitioned into full time school seamlessly. Our first two weeks have been focused on settling and getting to know the children. Our number one rule in reception is to be kind, so we thought it was apt that we are the Care Bear Crews!
We have been reading ‘Kind’ by Axel Scheffler, which has been a great book that is filled with positivity and hope. It has a strong message that we can all make the world a better, kinder place. With that being said we have introduced our class kindness jars. Each time we capture an act of kindness we get to put a pom pom in our jar. The love and kindness is spreading in reception and our jars are getting full very quickly! Once we reach the top we will be having a special treat!
