Another day – another Superhero!
This afternoon we were visited by Adie Moses – ex-professional footballer. He told us all about his football career which meant he ended up playing for Barnsley and England U21’s. We really enjoyed looking at his football shirts, photographs and his England cap. We had some really good questions to ask him too!

We had a great day as part of our immersion week for our expedition – How can I be a Superhero where I live? We all came dressed as our favourite superheroes – there were lots of Batmen, Supermen and Wonder Women! The adults came as doctors and vets – Mrs Chadwick came dressed as her superhero mum – a nurse, and Mrs Parsons came as her superhero dad – a soldier. To finish off the day we had a visit from Phil Sheppard – an author and illustrator. He shared lots of stories with us and gave us some great ideas for our expedition – we are very excited to get started!
