We have been geographers, sharing what we know about maps and working together to  answer the question ‘What is Norton like?’

We explored Beegu’s thoughts and feelings. Everyone enjoyed wearing Beegu ears to help us get into character and think about what she might be saying throughout the story.

We have been getting active and learning a new space dance.  It’s great for a quick ‘brain break’ and it’s so much fun!

We have had a fun week finding 1more/1 less than a number. We have used some practical resources and played exciting games to support our learning.

Class 6 love starting our afternoons with quiet reading time.

We worked collaboratively to solve some material problems. Why do you think glasses that help people to see are made of glass? The children came up with some brilliant answers.

We have been building houses using wood and houses made of plastic. Check out the concentration! Excellent teamwork 🙂

This week we have been super scientists exploring materials and their properties and carrying out our own tests to investigate waterproof and absorbent materials.

We are really proud of how the reception children have settled into their lunch time routines

It’s been a busy day in our class today learning about repeating patterns, sharing stories and labelling body parts.

Well done year two! Lovely to be able to start handing out TT Rockstar certificates – I wonder how many we will give out next week?
