Hello everyone,

I’d like to say a huge welcome back. The children have all settled incredibly well. We are already having lots of fun together…

BREAKING NEWS – A spaceship crashed onto our playground today! We heard a strange noise before heading outside to investigate. Look what we found…

 

 

 

Our English lesson was disturbed this morning by loud crashes and bangs.

So we spent the morning investigating what looked like an alien crash landing. The children were incredible detectives – investigating clues, making notes and designing wanted posters for the missing alien.

We have been busy ordering numbers in Maths today, using equipment and using our screen.

 

I can’t begin to tell you how lovely it was to hear our classroom filled with chatter and laughter again this week …

Each and every child has been amazing. After such a long time off school they have settled into year two life fantastically – positive attitudes, hard work and lots of smiles.

They have been a credit to all of you adults.

Ps. We will be having PE on a Friday. Children need to come to school in appropriate PE clothing and stay in them all day as we won’t be getting changed for PE until further notice. Earrings are not permitted on PE days so please remove them for those days.

 

 

I hope you all had a great Summer full of sunshine and filled with some fun and happy days. The children in Class 4  settle down really well and they come in with beautiful smiles on their faces. They are working incredibly hard enjoying every single minute in our class! Well done everybody.

It has been a wonderful day welcoming you all back into school.   We have spent time with lots of happy children exploring their new classrooms and outdoor area.

Hudson had used his birthday money to adopt a rescue dog  called Maggie. She is travelling from Greece and the heat over there is too much for her. Hudson and his family are going to take care of her. I think you’ll all agree that Maggie will be in the best hands 🙂 What a kind thing to do Hudson. We are all so proud of you…

William made himself a well deserved treat after working so hard…

Jude has been looking after his sunflower extremely well…
